Sprintshift : Proud to be a family firm
Simon Lyons started this family business way back in 2003 by buying a single Mercedes Sprinter van. He had a very straightforward objective :
“To provide the very best transport solutions in the business”
By doing this he believed the business would succeed and continue to grow through the recommendation of satisfied customers.
Sprintshift now operates a fleet of over 40 vehicles and has extensive on-site warehousing facilities.
We are proud to have a broad customer base from small independent companies, right through to large ‘high street’ names.

Assurances & Innovation
All our vehicles are installed with the latest Tom Tom systems. This software allows us to view their exact whereabouts every minute of the day on any PC or the big screen in the centre of our office.
Whilst every care is taken to ensure that your goods are delivered on time, increasing congestion and road traffic accidents can cause delays. Our software allows us to check exactly where our vehicle is to give the best possible estimated time of arrival.
We also have full traceability as to where the vehicle has been over the previous days, weeks and months. If you require this information we can share this with you.
Sprintshift prides itself on developing with our customers. We are now able to offer an online service which will allow you to book your jobs and view your current jobs, along with the complete history of your account. Your proof of deliveries will also be available to view once the delivery has been made.
Go to our customer login page for more details.
Our transport system is run by Stirling software. This software package allows us to view, day by day, our current, future and historical jobs. We can search the history of your account by the click of a button, producing mileages, invoices and saving all the information you supply to enable accurate record keeping.
Health & Safety
Very much key to our operating responsibilities on a day to day basis, policies and procedures have been implemented in line with current regulations. All office, warehouse and driving staff are trained to competent levels. Safe systems of work, risk assessments, COSHH and audits are carried out on a regular basis. Investing in our employees’ safety and customers’ alike is essential in the current marketplace.
All our drivers are taken through a lengthy induction process and issued with a driver’s pack which contains key customer working practices, along with company health & safety requirements and guidelines. We actively support our current accounts environmentally with management of their waste and packaging materials. We recognise that having set procedures in place will result in a quality workforce and a safe working environment.
You can be sure that from the moment your freight is collected, day or night, for national or international delivery, it will be fully insured. You can have full confidence in the level of insurance cover that Sprintshift offers.
